Mass model that weighs as much as the original would at this size. This makes enormous masses tangible and makes science truly tangible.

The Earth You Can Touch – The First Mass Model of Our Planet

How heavy are 6 trillion tons? The world's first mass model of the Earth makes the immense size and weight of our planet tangible. This model is not only a replica of our Earth but also depicts its mass proportionally. When you hold it in your hand, you'll feel the impressive weight the Earth would have at this scale. Although it's only slightly larger than a ping-pong ball, it weighs almost 300 grams – a direct, tangible representation of the planet's dimensions.

The included learning cards deepen this experience and illustrate the enormous distances at a model scale. They show, for example, how far away satellites, the moon, or the sun would be relative to the model. The cards are suitable for young and old – with exciting questions and answers that impart new knowledge in a playful way.

Recommended for ages 6 to 99, it makes a wonderful gift.
