Pre-cut cardboard kit for a fully functional pseudo-scope.

With all the enthusiasm for 3D effects, it is easy to overlook the fact that the basics for this were already researched 180 years ago by the Englishman Charles Wheatstone. He developed the first pseudoscope during his work.

People see in three dimensions
because their eyes see the world from different angles. To prove this, Charles Wheatstone constructed the so-called pseudoscope, in which the images for the two eyes are swapped, in addition to the stereoscope that is still widely used today.

This has astonishing consequences: The spatial arrangement is reversed, the front becomes the back and vice versa, a positive relief becomes a negative one.... You have to see it for yourself to believe it.
